Innovations & Installations

Project Building Studio

Level 4, Katapult.

When you found that new partner at the conference, bringing surprising perspectives and unexpected value to your ideas, why not start building your amazing project here and now? Supported by experienced coaches, translating early ideas into structured project concepts and actionable roadmaps. And the most valuable asset for any project – a deadline!

Space for Serendipity

Level 1, left of the entrance.

A room for the unplanned, the unfinished and the unexpected. Drop in to share an idea, test a thought, start a collaboration or follow a question that doesn’t fit the programme. Designed to accelerate cross-sector encounters beyond the formal programme, this is where chance meetings become new directions, a living lab for curiosity, crossovers and spontaneous innovation.

Connecting Across Sectors

All over the place. Rules explained before Thursday lunch.

Throughout the conference, this interactive matchmaking experience invites you to step outside your usual circles and connect with people you might never otherwise meet. Through playful prompts and guided encounters, you’ll discover shared challenges, complementary skills and surprising new partnership possibilities.

The Collaboration Table

Level 1, below the stairs.

Ping pong offers a low-threshold arena for informal exchange and rapid interaction. The dynamics of play – responsiveness, timing, adjustment – reflect the mechanics of cross-sector collaboration. Here, hierarchies soften and conversations begin naturally.

Katapult Kitchen – Micro Breaks & Mental Reset

Level 4, Katapult.

Innovation requires intensity but also recovery. The Katapult Kitchen offers a quiet sofa space for short cognitive breaks. Research shows that micro pauses enhance learning, creativity and problem-solving. Step away for a few minutes, recalibrate, and perhaps encounter someone unexpected in a different mode of conversation.
