KammarOperaKompaniet – a free opera group
KammarOperaKompaniet (tr. The Chamber Opera Company) is a free opera group run by founder and artistic director Christin Högnabba. The ambition is to play Swedish chamber opera in original crew, with both newly written commissioned works and existing works, in an intimate format, where the focus is on the drama. The company is passionate about Swedish opera art, urgent and timeless stories, and a gender equal music life where women’s and men’s music can sound on the same terms in a fun, playful and norm-critical way. They want to create great art in a small format.
