A production centre for culture, cultural, creative and social industries
Located in the south of Stockholm county, in Botkyrka municipality, Subtopia is a facilitator of dreams and culture. We work with artists, film producers, circus companies, non-profit associations and other creators, to realize their dreams and make the world just a little bit better.
Subtopia’s main focus is on contemporary circus production, film and media production as well as urban art, but we work in a variety of art forms such as music, dance, theater, design and more.
Subtopias Cluster
Subtopia’s cluster has a total of 15,000 sq.m. at its disposal. Beyond Subtopia’s own business, we house organizations and companies that work within set design, circus production, film education, community development, public art and much more. Read more about the cluster.
Production Studio
Subtopia develops and runs support functions for artists. We run a cultural incubator, a circus residency and a sales fair for circus, artistic youth activities and two open art walls for artists.
