Get Organizer Support

Subtopia wants to make a difference and we also want to help others make a difference. If you are planning a socially beneficial event, you can therefore apply for the Heart Event organizer support from us.

Subtopia’s entire operation is permeated by the desire to be an enabler. By providing support to organizers, we can create the conditions for others to contribute more culture and more benefit to society. Every year we choose to co-produce different types of events, everything from workshops, seminars and concerts to larger fundraising events. The concept is called a heart event. We at Subtopia want to act as an enabler for organizers with limited resources. A heart event is something we do on our own initiative and we provide support to the extent of our resources, on average once a year.

How do I get Organizer Support?

To receive organizer support, the project needs to meet certain criteria. The Heart Event is a stepping stone and the support is not for established projects. We make an individual assessment of each project application. The event must be socially beneficial, provide something to Botkyrka’s residents and/or have a connection to Botkyrka and be politically and religiously independent. You as the organizer must need our support but also have a project organization that we believe can implement the event. We would prefer that you as the organizer are in the start-up phase and not yet established.

What can I get Help With?

You can receive support in the form of subsidized venue rent, staff or other existing resources, as well as advice on how to arrange an event.

Who can Apply for Organizer Support?

Anyone with a project idea can apply for support from us. Associations, organizations, projects or events, the important thing is that your idea is in line with our policy and values.

Premises Covered by Organizer Support

The four venues available to those who receive organizing support from Subtopia are:

• Hangaren Our largest venue. 2150 square meters with space for up to 2500 people.
• Loftet Cozy venue with foyer. 300 square meters and space for up to 300 people.
• Himmelriket Smaller room for e.g. workshops. 45 sq m for up to 30 people.
• Paradiset The smallest venue. 35 square meters for up to 15 people.
