Before your Visit

Subtopia is located in Alby in Botkyrka. You can easily get there by metro, bus or car.

With Public Transport

Take the red metro line towards Norsborg and get off at Alby. Exit through the ticket gates towards Alby Torg. Turn left and follow Albyvägen straight ahead for about 10 minutes, then turn left onto Rotemannavägen. If you are going to Hangaren, continue for another 5 minutes along the footpath.

You can take bus line 708 from Tumba and stop at Alby IP.

Subtopia’s area is large and consists of various buildings and venues. If you are unsure where to go, you can always visit our reception, which is located in the main building at Rotemannavägen 10.

Take E4/E20, south from Stockholm City, north from Södertälje. Exit right at Alby/Tumba, head towards Alby. Follow Albyvägen. Directions on Google maps.

Subtopia’s main building is open weekdays from 09:00 to 16:00. Opening hours may vary during events

Restaurant Novié is open weekdays 10:00 – 15:00 and lunch is served 11:00 – 14:00.

Both paid and free parking are available within the Subtopia area. Parking permits(P-skiva) are required and can be picked up at the reception at Rotemannavägen 10.

Park at Subtopia’s Main Building

There are about 40 free parking spaces around Subtopia’s main building, all of which require a parking permit(P-skiva). At the intersection of Albyvägen/Rotemannavägen there is a paid parking lot with about 80 parking spaces. Payment is only made by phone app.

Park at Hangaren

There are about 100 parking spaces at Hangaren on Albyvägen. Parking is free but requires a parking permit(P-skiva). It takes about 5 minutes to walk between Subtopia’s main building and Hangaren.

For those of you who have a parking permit for disabilities, we have three reserved spaces at the main building and three reserved spaces at Hangaren.

Subtopia’s premises are fully accessible. The entrance doors are wide, and the building is equipped with elevators, accessible toilets, and high-contrast markings. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are always welcome. Hearing loops are only available specifically in our venue, Loftet. Read more about accessibility at Subtopia’s main building.

Parking for people with disabilities is available at the main building and at Hangaren.

The restaurant Novié is located in Subtopia’s main building. They serve lunch every weekday between 11:00 and 14:00. The menu features Swedish home-cooked food with a twist, all made from scratch.

In Alby Center, you will find everything from the well-known grocery store Alby Mat—complete with its own butcher shop and bakery—to a pharmacy, nail salon, hairdresser, and clothing stores. It is a 10-minute walk from Subtopia to Alby Center. On the other side of Hågelbyleden, there is a larger shopping area featuring an ICA Maxi, various hardware stores, fast-food restaurants, and more.
