About Subtopia

Subtopia is a production hub for the artistic, creative, and social industries in Alby, Botkyrka. We provide a space where artists, film producers, circus companies, non-profit organizations, and other creators work to realize their dreams and make the world a better place. Contact us

We offer 15,000 square meters of functional cultural spaces, supported by our deep expertise in circus, urban arts, entrepreneurship, youth programs and studio productions.

Production Location

Subtopia develops and manages support programs for artists, working across the entire spectrum—from beginners to world-class experts in various artistic fields. We provide the necessary conditions for circus artists to create and produce; we engage with youth culture in our local community; we run an incubator for creative start-ups; we offer flexible premises for everything from film shoots to festivals; and we actively promote urban art.

Creative Cluster

In addition to Subtopia’s core operations, we house organizations and companies specializing in culture and social entrepreneurship, including set design and manufacturing, circus production, film education, community gardening, and public works.
