Synergy Across Sectors

Subtopia participates in a European collaboration project that strengthens creative and cultural ecosystem across borders.

Subtopia, together with partners in Finland and the Czech Republic, is launching the new European project Synergy Across Sectors (SXS), a three-year initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. The project aims to develop smarter and more sustainable ways for museums, creators and businesses to collaborate and strengthen each other’s skills.

The project is led by the Centre for Creative Museology (Czech Republic). Subtopia’s cultural incubator Katapult has a key role in the project and is responsible for contributing methods and learning formats for cross-sectoral collaboration, based on long experience in building bridges between culture, creativity and business.

With SXS, we want to make cultural heritage a living arena for artists and creative entrepreneurs to develop future collaborations.

Together with Novia University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and the Museum of Eastern Bohemia / Centre for Creative Museology (Czech Republic), a European model is being created for how cultural institutions and creative actors can work together in a more inclusive, innovative and long-term way. SXS will offer storytelling training, a digital collaboration platform, Learning Labs in several countries and a new interactive app developed by Charles Games that makes it easier to work cross-sectorally.
