About the Subtopia Area
Subtopia operates around 15,000 square meters of premises, ranging from offices and conference rooms to studios and workshops. Some premises are rented out for short-term projects, while others have permanent tenants who work in the cultural, artistic, creative and social sectors. Together, they form Subtopia’s cluster. Many of the houses that are today Subtopia were built in the early 1900s as the farms of the entrepreneurial couple Hilda and Lars Magnus Ericsson. The old architecture has been preserved and we have made our mark with an outdoor gallery for urban art. Read more about the history.
