Circusnext Platform
Circusnext is a European platform for emerging creators in the field of contemporary circus. The current round runs from 2026-2028 with three application periods.
Are you a circus performer and want to apply?
A European selection process is carried out three times during the period 2026-2028, when a number of artistic projects are selected for support. The support consists of relationship-building activities with organisers around Europe, residency programs, coaching and workshops, extensive support with marketing and partnerships in international networks.
The next call for artists to apply to Circusnext will end in spring 2027. Keep an eye on circusnext.eu and Subtopia’s social media for more information. See also the information film at the bottom of this page and this information pdf.
In the 2025-2026 funding round, David Martin was one of the four laureates, selected from over 100 European applicants. He graduated in 2024 from the circus candidate program at Stockholm University of the Arts.
