The award-winning folk trio Hialøsa breathes new life into timeless Scanian folk melodies. Violins, double bass, vocals, and electronic soundscapes pulse between the really old and the contemporary. Around the trio, four circus artists float, hang, and dance – in hair-hanging, trapeze, rope, and acrobatics. Life, death, and dance side by side. And somewhere in between, the romantic aesthetic dissolves, giving way to a playful, unauthentic Scanian celebration. Traditional, yet completely something else.
About the company
ENT is a Scandinavian artistic collective exploring the intersection of music and circus. Their performances combine folk music, aerial acrobatics, and striking visual universes. Their aim is to foster a respectful love of nature and to make art a space for community, exploration, and joy.

Since Cirqus Hialøs is performed immediately following Metaphoric Objects on the same stage in Hangaren, with only a 30-minute interval in between, you have the perfect opportunity to see both!
